Representing the Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships
The Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships is a non-industry specific Certifying Partner. AASP provides guidance, training and assistance to approximately 3000 member employers to assist in safety program development, and achieving a Certificate of Recognition (COR).
The head office of the Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships is located in Taber, Alberta, with member employers throughout Alberta. We provide a practical, reasonable approach to health and safety in the workplace. The protocol used by the Association is based on “Partnerships” both for program development and auditing.
Alberta Association for Safety Partnerships has implemented a Small Employer Certificate of Recognition Program available to businesses with 10 or fewer employees, including casual and contract.
The A.A.S.P provides support and guidance for all members, as well as promotes networking and information sharing, which will ultimately lead to quality health and safety systems and safer workplaces throughout our province.
During the presentation you will learn about the Partnerships program and COR, why it is important to implement a health and safety program, costs associated, legal requirements and an outline of the elements of a basic health and safety program.
