STUDENT CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be received SEVEN business days prior to class. No-shows, will not be refunded.

CANCELLATION OF TRAINING BY THE ALBERTA SIGN ASSOCIATION
The Alberta Sign Association reserves the right to cancel or change a class at any time, including but not limited to, COVID-19 Restrictions, lack of participation, classroom, equipment or trainer availability.
Notification will be provided within FIVE days of the class, whenever possible.
All training will be cancelled if there are fewer than five students.

– Training will be one, full-day,  provided by Schram Crane and Rigging Ltd. 
“In order to ensure compliance with all Workplace Health and Safety guideline requirements for operators of Overhead Hoists, participants must be able to demonstrate competent performance in all rigging required for sign installation. Elementary rigging applications will be covered in the first two hours of the course.
Students will begin with a Pre-Test on Theory and Load Chart Calculations to prepare them for classroom instruction.
This examination is also a clear indicator of worker competencies at time of entry into training.
At the completion of the delivery of the course material, the students must write a Theory Exam, a Load Chart Exam and demonstrate safe operations through Practical Examination.
A passing score of 70% or better must be achieved in each section to achieve a passing grade and certificate.
A certificate that is valid for a period of three years is issued to successful participants”.
