This year we are providing a new format to allow for more engagement and fun for our golfers. If there are any additional funds raised over the cost of the event will be donated back to our non-profit organization. We are offering the opportunity for our vendors to have an at hole sponsorship. Snacks, short games and give aways will be allowed, and encouraged. This is an excellent opportunity to advertise your company and any new products within a reasonable timespan. Vendors would be expected to bring their own tent for set up and come no later than 9:30am to set up at their hole.
The 2022 ASA Golf Tournament will support Haying in the 30’s a volunteer-led, charity organization that sends much needed funds to those in our communities undergoing cancer treatment. These donations are in honour of one of our ASA Members whose daughter, Shayla Wisholff, recently passed away from Breast Cancer. Her journey is a great inspiration to others and brought to light our need in Canada for more treatment options for people suffering from Breast Cancer.

Hello, my name is Norm Peterson and I am the Academic Chair for the NAIT Graphic Communications program.
This coming April 2018, we will be sending out Graphic Communications students on a two-week Professional Experience to help them gain practical, hands-on industry training, and to apply their learned skillset from NAIT. If you would like to host a student for two weeks in April, we would really appreciate the support. There are no expectations from your organization other than to return a signed insurance form and provide a quick feedback survey upon the completion of the practicum. Students are covered under NAIT insurance while on the practicum.
Please review the details for the upcoming practicum. If you are unable to help us this year, feel free to forward this email onto someone that could be in a position to help out. We cannot guarantee that every organization will receive a practicum student, but we will do our best to accommodate all requests.
Once students complete the Graphic Communications practicum, they would be available for employment, as their NAIT studies would be complete. If you are looking to hire someone this would be a great opportunity to “test drive” a potential candidate for two weeks at no cost to your organization. There is no expectation of employment, but we would hope the student would be provided a good learning experience.
