Membership fees are payable to Alberta Sign Association and are due by February 28, 2010.
Companies who have not paid by February 28, 2010 will be removed from roster and all membership benefits will cease. Eg. Engineering labels, Web Access, Registration for courses.
Companies paying after February 28, 2010 are subject to pay an additional years fees in advance.
Membership & Web Access are not activated until a current
signed Objectives and Standards form has been received.
Objectives & Standards Sheet
The Objectives of the Association are:
- to nurture a unified professional image
- to promote the exchange of ideas between provincial and state associations and to provide representation on behalf of our members
- to present a unified front in transactions with all levels of government.
- to educate our members to better fulfill their roles in the marketplace
- to educate the public as to the advantages of dealing with Association members
The Standards of the Association call for members:
- to promote safe work practices
- to encourage the training and development of employees
- to meet or exceed the guidelines of the Canadian Electrical Code
- to maintain an image or reputation which will favorably affect public opinion of the Association and other members and
- to adhere to the laws of the land
